Sleeping Like a Baby
Jammin' to Handsome Boy Modeling School... feelin' just heavenly.

Fresh sheets are great. Especially after a shower. Especially after an orgasm. Especially when you share an orgasm with a neato person. I have a feeling that tonight, I will sleep like baby. That is why I am in bed at the early hour of 11PM. I want to make sure I get enough sleep so that I'm not dragging myself out of bed in the morning.

So let's review the weekend. Or the week, since I haven't updated in a few days. Okay nevermind, Thursday and Friday were pretty uneventful, so I don't need to go over those days. Saturday, I worked for a few hours. The IRS was sending me scary letters, so to avoid having to join Martha Stewart, I decided to finally give them what they wanted. Yeah, smart move. That evening, the Hoosier took me to the Lakers/Clippers game as my belated birthday present. Only the Hoosier couldn't make it, so my friend filled in as his proxy. Ain't that a bitch! He was there in spirit, though. Thanks again for the gift... smile

Today, I did... wait for it... wait for it... LAUNDRY!!! Yeah, I feel great. Four loads!! Could have and would have done more if only I had more quarters. Tomorrow I'm going to get about $50 worth of quarters from the bank which will be my laundry fund. I have a sick feeling that if I did laundry nonstop until I was done with all of it, that it'd take me about that many quarters. Sad. The rest of the day was spent cleaning my room, playing Scrabble [and kicking royal ass] with the Hoosier and watching The Aviator. Pretty good movie.

Okay... time for shut eye.

Red velvet guts cake.
Jammin' to a song the Hoosier sent me... feelin' gay, as in happy.

Today, I played hookie from work. I baked red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, ordered pizza, laid in bed and played Yahoo! games all day long with the Hoosier.

There are plenty things wrong with the above sentence. I played hookie?! I baked?! I played online board games while scarfing down pizza?! Yes, indeedy. And it was fucking great. Well, the cake was not all that wonderful. I've never been a fan of plain ol' moist angel food cake, but the cream cheese frosting made up for it. The cake is dyed blood red and reminds me of the armadillo cake in Steel Magnolias. Remember? The groom's armadillo cake?

Anyway.

Who knew that you could talk to someone for a good 6-7 hours straight and still not get tired of them? Who knew that you could talk to someone for [busts out the calculator] well over 200 hours, within one month, and still not feel the need to strangle them? Huh. Fascinating.

I just got home from watching Les Miserables, again, at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. It was rainy, windy and cold [for Cali standards] but luckily we didn't park too far away. The show was good, most of the performers did well, but the sound quality was awful. In the first act, half the mics weren't working properly and some mics were on when they shouldn't have been [oooops...]. We had crappy orchestra seats, and the balding head in front of me kept moving from side to side so I could barely see shit. I knew I preferred mezzanine for a reason. My sister got her souvenir that she buys at all shows [magnet] and I bought mine [sweatshirt... 30 effin' dollars]. All in all a good night.

Well, I gotta get to work early tomorrow morning to make up for today. Night!

Radio bloggah.
Jammin' to nothing... feelin' meh.

I quickly slapped a radio blog onto my site while sitting here at work. It doesn't appear to be working but I haven't the patience to figure out why. Maybe it won't work until I register. Oh well, for now you will see a white square where the realplaya jukebox used to be.

Christmas shopping woes.
Jammin' to Lyrics Born - Stop Complaining... feelin' sleepless in Los Angeles.

Holy dude, it's almost 3AM. My eyelids are getting heavier and heavier but I can't pry my fingers off the keyboard. I've been searching far and wide for the second part of the Hoosier's Christmas gift.

We interrupt this entry with a message from.. err.. Billy Ray Cyrus?! He was just on the tube doing a commercial for Toys For Tots. Strange. Now back to our regularly scheduled entry.

I have an idea what I'm going to get my sister, not a clue what to get my brother, and not a clue what to get my parents. I hate shopping, believe it or not. Especially Christmas shopping. I mean, damn. I went to Target today just to buy a freakin' pack of fruit of the looms and it was craziness. They ran out of shopping carts and people were fighting over baskets. From that moment on, I decided I was going to stay far away from retail stores until the first week of January. Hooray for online shopping.

Oh, I almost forgot. The wedding yesterday was fun. We ended up getting there at 10:45, same time as most of my other coworkers. The ceremony was small and intimate; it was in the garden and it was pretty gloomy, but thank goodness it didn't rain. Afterwards, while the wedding party took pictures, the guests were taken to a waiting area where they served hors' d'Oeuvres and cocktails. THIS was when I was to snap the polaroids of guests and make them write a little ditty in the scrap book. Fuckin' A that was harder than I thought it'd be. Luckily a few people helped out.

Finally, the herd of cattle was called into the Pavilion restaurant where the reception was. The place looked great, and most importantly, the food was YUMMY! Since it was a morning wedding, the buffet-style served meal was mostly breakfast food. I didn't complain, I love breakfast. We danced a little, then hit the road home. I took a lot of pictures that I'll arrange in an album for the groom. I also took one really nice one that I've ordered a print of and will frame for him. Should turn out purty.

Well, 3:30AM is just around the corner. Let's hope I'm able to wake up at 8.

Ice cream soup.
Jammin' to Track 07... feelin' perplexed.

I'm not quite sure what I'm eating, but I think it is what used to be an ice cream cake. It was my coworker's birthday yesterday, so we have leftover ice cream cake from Ben & Jerry's. It's very melted though, so it is more like soup now. There are some chunky things within the liquid and I can't figure out what they are until I bite into them. Sometimes it's a cookie dough chunk. Sometimes brownie. Sometimes a big chunk of overly sweet icing, which I have to chase with a gulp of water. Nevertheless, it's filling my tummy with something. I haven't eaten lunch yet, so anything tastes good right about now.

Tomorrow morning I get to drive to Disneyland Hotel for my coworker's wedding. The wedding is at 11 in the god-forsaken morning. Disneyland is an hour away [if I'm lucky]. It'll take me half an hour to get showered up and dressed, so that means I have to wake up by 9:00am on a Saturday. On top of that, the groom asked me to take pictures of everyone as they walk in and stick it in a scrap book. I cannot, for the life of me, remember if he said to do this before the CEREMONY or before the RECEPTION. I'm sure he's busy as fuck so I really don't need to bother him on his cell phone right now. Just to be safe, I will arrive at the hotel at 10:15. SO, this means I actually have to wake up at 8:30. YEY. I bought an outfit to wear to the wedding but haven't even tried it on yet. I'm so screwed.

Moving along...

The UPS man brought me a present today... a belated birthday gift, all the way from the Hoosier state. How did I get so lucky... ;)
