Ughhrrgh.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

My hair is already turning orange and I just dyed it last Wednesday. Yuck. I hate when it gets this color. I guess that's what you get when you use semi-permanent dye. At least it doesn't do any damage to your hair; you can dye it with semi-perm every day if you so desire.

NO ROOM SERVICE TODAY DAMNIT. NONE AT ALL, NOT EVEN MOVIES OR NINTENDO!

I went to Walgreen's last night and bought some soda, chips, chocolate and cookies for snacks so I wouldn't be tempted to order room service. I also ate at IHOP yesterday and my bill was only 7 bucks. I also get 15% off my next meal so I will probably go there again today or tomorrow.

Man my vacation is half over. I'm sad!! But hey at least I only have to work Thursday and Friday before another weekend happens. This Saturday is my boss's engagement party. I didn't RSVP but hmmm.. I wonder if I should go anyway.

Room service
Jammin' to ... feelin'

I'M SO FAWKING HORRIBLE. Room service is the devil yet that's all I've eaten since I arrived. I just ordered dinner and it should be here in about twenty minutes. Man, I'd seriously go out to eat but I don't know my way around, it's dark out, and I don't feel like walking 2.849 miles to where my car is parked. Also... I'm sort of waiting by the phone... like a dumbass.

Rise and shine, Cali!
Jammin' to ... feelin'

My laptop still says 3:45AM. The sun has almost completely risen here on the right coast. I slept all of 2 or 3 hours last night. I'm wide awake now and I just ordered breakfast so I'll be up for a while. I have a rental car and I'm anxious to terrorize central Florida, but I'm also afraid of getting lost for one, and also, I'm afraid of running into a bunch of tourists (ahem) it being Memorial Day weekend and all.

The plane ride over here was semi-painless. I woke my ass up at 4:30AM and left the house at 5:30AM. I took a shuttle to LAX, and as we were passing through the terminals I saw a line about a mile long waiting to get through security. I was floored. It was already 6:45 and my flight leaves at 8:00. This was for Southwest Air, so luckily when we stopped by Delta Air there was no line. *whew* I got my boarding pass within a minute from those ATM-like machines and scurried over to the gates. The security line there was rather speedy. One of the workers yelled at me for not putting my laptop in a seperate bin. I made it over to my gate with half an hour to spare. So I'm waiting, waiting, waiting and then hear my name called over the speaker to come to the podium. Huh? I go up there thinking I'm still in 6th grade, awaiting some sort of punishment. "May I see your boarding pass?" Uh sure. *hands me a new one* "You've been moved up a row." Ohhh ok. So that's what they do when they call your name. I always thought it was some top secret central intelligence business. Haha.

Okay, so we board the plane. Great. I have to sit next to someone. In almost all my flights I've never had to sit next to people. The guy was nice. Real quiet and polite; didn't smell funny and didn't take over the arm rest. The seats are uncomfortable as hell though on Delta planes. The plane seemed old and the flight attendants were ancient. I slept for half the flight and was nauseous for the other half. There was quite a lot of turbulence which made me wanna hurl even more. Gah. I hate flying.

We arrive in Orlando and it is HOT. I could feel the heat and humidity piercing through the thin walls of the tunnel leading to the gate. I thought to myself, first thing I do when I get to the hotel is get in my suit and jump in the pool. Ehh. As soon as I get outside it's fucking raining. WTF? I swore I was a jinx or something.

I took the shuttle to the rental car place and dealt with the epitome of a used car salesman. He pulled out a silver 4 door Ford Focus for me and had me walk around for inspection. There was a huge dent on the rear bumper which he CLEARLY saw, so I didn't feel the need to point it out. He then tried to get me to sign the fucking contract saying the car was in perfect condition. You motherfucker. I pointed out the dent and he of course acted stupid and marked it off.

Finally I get into the car and pull off into the road headed for the hotel. As soon as I get on the freeway there's a right lane merge. To my surprise, people were actually merging right away and not being a jerk waiting till the last minute before cutting you off. I was in shock. Then came the toll booths. I fucking passed three toll booths on the way here. Good thing I had cash on me.

Aaaaanyway, I get to the hotel and as soon as I walk in there's a huge sign that said "KARAOKE NIGHT". Hahaha. I came to the right place! But hell no I wasn't gonna go by myself. So I check in, get to my room, yadda yadda and now I'm here. I really have no idea what I'm going to do today... maybe I'll hit the Florida Mall. Scary thought.

I still love you.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

It don't take a rocket scientist to know I love you... and it don't take a rocket scientist to know I need you... ~ good song by 702. :o)

The countdown to Florida is ticking. By this time tomorrow I'll be halfway to Orlando. I just heard on the radio this morning that we're at terror alert orange or some shit. That I'm not afraid of, what I am afraid of is taking forever to get through security at LAX tomorrow at the butt crack of dawn. I'm gonna need to pack in songs on my iPod tonight. It's gonna be a loooooong day.

I have so many errands to run tonight before the finale of American Idol. Gotta buy toiletries, underwear, minidv cassettes, hit the bank and deposit money, take that shit right out, yadda yadda. Damn the politics!!

Fuck I gotta call a taxi to pick me up tomorrow morning. Toodles!

I guess it's true what they say...
Jammin' to ... feelin'

...about black men? In the uh package department? I was watching some pr0n earlier and GOTDAMN!! The dude's package was fuckin' ship freight. Wow, I wasn't turned on or anything. Just amazed. I wonder how big Kobe's is. HAHA.

I'm a dumbass who took a five hour nap after work, and now I'm wide awake. My sister woke me up around 7 asking me about some nonsense that she usually does. I thought it was 7 in the morning and that I had to get ready for work or something. Then she said let's go watch a movie, and I realized it was Friday night. I mumbled something back and fell back asleep. I feel bad. We were supposed to watch a movie on Monday, then I said we'll watch on Thursday, but the game was that day so we agreed on Friday. Ooops. Oh well, maybe Sunday night when I get back.

Alright.. I'm gonna try to go back to bed now.

Jammin' to ... feelin'

I didn't do much at all today at work except talk to Aaron, the love of my life, on the phone and buy him pizza for lunch. Haha. ;)

Oh, also want to say a quick hi to Edmond, Joy and Jenn B.

Tonight when I get home I'm going to sulk a little more over the shortened NBA post season for a certain team, re-dye my hair and possibly watch X2 with my sister. I don't really want to watch Matrix 2 because it's "hella" busy still, I don't remember a thing from the first Matrix, and I'd really rather watch X2 anyway. Then I'm gonna pack and sleep early because my hoe Crystal and I are driving down to San Diego EARLY Saturday morning to see her friend graduate from SDSU. After that we're driving back up to the Inland empire (Pomona/Diamond Bar) to party at Chuck's place where I still stay sober. We usually stay the night when we're out there late.

Sunday afternoon, I don't know. Maybe I'll finish folding all the clothes that I laundered. Guh I hate folding clothes! I can do 80 loads of laundry, no problem. It's the folding that I loathe.

I just smelled my arm pit. I'm Sure!

Ugh. I feel sick right now.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

My beloved Lakers lost tonight... quite badly. I'm sad for them. I'm sad for my baby Kobe. It's alright... it's better that we learn from our mistakes for next season and hopefully be back on track. I really wanted us to win this one though, for the late Chick Hearn. :(

I'm selling 90% of the parts on my car. Ack. I'm hating my car right now. I just want a brand new luxury car that I never ever ever have to modify again. I hate my fickle self.

Yadda yadda... I'm so tired. I'm gonna go to bed. now.

It feels like 12 hours have passed since I last wrote in here. I can't believe there are 2.5 more hours in the day before freedom. I didn't even get here till 10am. Feels like I've been here for days.

Courtesy of Bath & Body Works. It actually smells quite nice. A bit fruity but also baby powderish. I went crazy and bought body cream for home, body lotion for work, shower cream, some raspberry anti-bacterial gel and a loofa. I've also started to take two showers a day. Once at night and once in the morning. Can never be too clean.

Exactly one week until I depart for the East coast. I'm hella excited. Oh shit, sorry I'm still in a San Francisco state of mind. Speaking of San Francisco, I had a weird nightmarish dream the other night that I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on an insanely steep hill in a stick shift car. It was so steep that if I tugged on the steering wheel I could've flipped backwards. My stomach had fallen into the back seat already. Skurry.

Is anybody out there? Does anyone come here anymore? I mean, I don't have a comments or guestbook link, and no one ever emails me about my site anymore so I'm wondering if I'm alone in this e-world. Ahh. Well hey, if you're nice, drop me a line.

Anyone watch American Idol last night? I did of course. I'm sad that Kimberley is gone, but at least Ruben's still there. Clay Aiken is still creepy to me. Kimberley is really good but there is just something about her that doesn't make her great. Not her image, but her voice. Maybe it's too alto-ish. I also don't find this year's Idol as exciting as last years. Eh.

Last night I was playing with my cell phone and downloaded a bunch of new ring tones. I assigned most everyone who regularly calls me their own ring tone so I know who's calling and I can ignore it without having to shuffle for my phone in my purse. Here's how I assigned it:

  1. Sister - American Idol theme (she's my AI-watching partner)

  2. Brother - Beat It by Michael Jackson

  3. Aunt - Strawberry Fields by Beatles

  4. Mom - Columbo theme (she loves that show)

  5. Dad - Eleanor Rigby by Beatles

  6. Crystal - Baby Got Back

  7. Gabe - Munster's theme (inside joke)

  8. Ryan - Next Episode by Dr. Dre (cuz he a tHuG haha)

  9. Work - Inspector Gadget theme

  10. Rob (my ex) - Ex-girlfiend by No Doubt (i kinda always knew i'd end up his...)

Well that's all I can think of off the top of my head. My main ring tone used to be One Minute Man by Missy but now it's All I Need by Method Man & Mary. I also downloaded Two Wrongs by Wyclef & Claudette and Warning by Incubus. Me likey.

I had an awesome dream last night.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

For many months now, my top three guys have always been 1. Brandon Boyd, 2. Orlando Bloom & 3. Kobe Bryant. Kobe is OG though, he's been on my list for years (if you're a long time reader of my site then you should know that.) After last night's dream I think I may bump him up to #1. I mean, I watch Kobe more than Brandon so it fits. Hah. I remembered the dream SO vividly on the way to work this morning but for the life of me I can't put it to words. Ugh... Kobe is so damn fine. Those eyes... that smile... those dimples... those... those... those strong cut basketball player arms... that tall slim body. *whew*

Put me on tap cuz I'm a water fountain.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

I've been drinking water like crazy. I have to pee every hour. I'm trying to be good and drink the daily recommended 64oz. of water per day. I don't really like the taste of water unless I've eaten something very sweet, or if I've been snacking constantly. I've cut out the snacks though, and can't eat anything sweet, so my water just tastes like my saliva. Eck.

My cousins and I are planning my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary party to be held in July. I've been put in charge of invitations and giveaways which I predict will be another pain in the ass, just like it was for my sister's birthday party. I volunteer for these things because I don't trust others to do it right. Heh.

I cut about 5" off my hair. It only looks cute when I blow dry it. Otherwise it looks like a limp broom is on my head. I also rebleached my roots but I royally screwed up. Now when the red hair dye goes over it, it's different shades of red. No one seems to notice.. or care though.

My son sent me a Mother's Day e-greeting. I was smiling the whole morning. I love you baby!

Well, now we have a problem.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

Lakers are down 0-2 and are playing at home tonight. It's going to be a tough battle but I'm still a believer! Go Lakers!!

Friday morning. I walk towards the door of the office and I don't see a strip of light underneath. Hmm. I'm the first one here. I actually have to use my office key?! A lot of times I'm the last to leave, but our door is weird so all I have to do is lock the knob from the inside and get out.

Just me and two other people are in the office today. Fun.

Today's Randomness
Jammin' to ... feelin'

I hate titles.

Let's start with my weekend in San Jose/Sunnyvale/San Francisco. I left work at 1pm, went home to pack, and met up with the folks. We hit the road at 2:30 and flew up the 5 North. It was raining most of the way and many a bug were laid to rest on my windshield, hood and bumper. We made it safely to the hotel at 8:30 that night. The next day we shot some pool (hahaha, I almost typed "people") and then experienced the San Francisco night life. Sunday we went to the New Dimensions car show and then headed back home at 5pm or so. It was a fun weekend.. seemed long though.

I heard a new song on the radio by Fabolous featuring Ashanti that is basically Tamia's "So Into You" with a rap track laid over it. WTF?! That song is barely 5-6 years old and they're ALREADY sampling it?! Tamia is one of my favorite artists and it just ticked me off. Especially with Ashanti's talentless ass trying to sing the hook. Bah humbug.

I got my 17" PowerBook yesterday. I debated whether or not to open it (ended up opening it anyway), because I still haven't decided if I'm keeping the 15 or the 17 incher. The 15" is lighter and has already been customized to my specs and I will not get much if I try to sell it. However the 17" is of such higher quality and is a damn beautiful thing. It's on the heavy side though. Ack. What to do, what to do.

Laker game tonight. There is so much pressure on tonight's game. On one hand, it is not everyday a road team can gain home court advantage, must less against the Spurs. On the other hand, the Lakers CANNOT go 0-2. I don't think they've EVER been 0-2 in a playoff series with Phil Jackson. Now with Devean George out it's going to be even harder. Hopefully they will come out guns blazing tonight.

I took a "Which Sex and the City Character Are You?" quiz yesterday and I got CHARLOTTE. WTF?! CHARLOTTE?! How lame. I used to always get Miranda for some reason.

Anywhoo back to work I go.

Ruben Studdard just sang this song on American Idol. Gosh. It was quite moving; I almost started to tear up. That's the same damn question I've been trying to answer for the past year.

Cable modem died.
Jammin' to ... feelin'

My cable modem at home died. I'd rather live without the internet than suffer on cursed dial-up. I ordered DSL and cancelled my service with the cable company so I should be up and running again next week. So, I made a list of things I can do at home while internet-less.

1. Pluck my eyebrows

2. Clean my room

3. Buy and assemble a new computer desk

4. Take off all the protective film that's still on my appliances after having them for over a year.

5. Do my laundry
