HOLY COW. That was the worst drive home to LA from San Diego I have ever experienced. I left my parents' house around 8:15 and it was wet outside. It wasn't raining though... so I decided to go ahead and make the journey. About a third of the way there, it starts raining... no big deal, I can get through a little rain..... then halfway there it starts POURING. I mean POURING. Pouring cats and dogs. No, screw that, pouring honda civics and vw golfs. The rain drops pounding against my windshield were the size of Nokia 8290 cell phones, I swear. It was so loud. Louder than my engine, and my engine is pretty loud. I had just put in my cold air intake and the filter is about 2" off the ground, so if I were to drive through a mini-puddle, I'd suck up that water and seriously fuck up my motor. The rain continued to pound on my newly washed car for another hour or so. FINALLY it stops, so I stomp on the gas and get my ass home safe in bed. Haha.. I guess I just contradicted myself there. Anyway, I guess I was going fast enough to dry off the water spots cuz when I got home my car was squeaky clean again. Woot.
I feel like being a dork and creating a mini-website dedicated to my car. YES, I'm aware at how narcissistic that is, but hey, aren't all personal webpages a bit narcissistic though? Cut me some slack, I'm finally getting my car to where I want it to be since I've got some extra cash laying around. :o)
