I spent a couple hundred bucks today on some clothes. Ack. I never really do that, but I went to EXPRESS at the mall and searched for a nice semi-formal dress for the wedding tomorrow. Geez I can't believe I bought three dresses. One is flexible enough where I can either make it look formal or business casual for work. The other is a cute little pink flowery sun dress, and the last one is some ugly ass dress that I don't even know why I bought. I'll return it on Monday. Then I bought a skirt and corresponding top outfit that I could wear for work too. Aye yay yay I'm gonna be so broke. Bad Mae!
Anyway I'm at my aunt's house right now. I haven't gotten my new computer yet and my old one is still here since I haven't gotten a chance to move my computer desk. I'll probably do it this weekend when my parents drive up with a U-Haul along with my bed (finally!)... Then I can get back to working on some of my projects so I can finally get paid and put some money in the bank.

Today at work was pretty busy.. I barely had a second to use the ladies' room I was so damn busy. I need to talk with my boss. I seriously either need to hire an assistant, or get a phat raise cuz I have too many responsibilities it's ridiculous. I do all the bookkeeping, reconciling, accounts payable, accounts receivable, marketing collateral, demographics, website, employee benefits, shipping and receiving, and all these other brainless things that take up so much of my time. FUCK THAT SHIT! Arghhhh........ I'm at the office fucking 70 hours a week, if they would at least take me off salary and put me as an hourly employee that will make me happy. Then I would get overtime pay. Damnit. I'm gonna talk to him on Monday, they usually are pretty good about keeping employees happy so I think I can get my way.
Oh yeah.. and if you're reading this right now (you know who you are), have fun on your trip this weekend and I miss you.

I bought a new computer! I desperately needed one ever since I got smart and realized how slow-as-shit my current computer is. Anyway my new computer is a Dell 933mhz Pentium III, 128MB RAM, DVD Player, 17" monitor and all that good stuff. It was on sale for only $899 with free shipping at www.dell.com. I plan on shoving more RAM up it's ass too so that I can fly through Adobe Photoshop without any problems. I know, I should have built my own computer but yeahhh like I really have time for that. I'm so excited! Ack.
For the past couple of days I've been on Cloud 9. Seriously, I've just been so damn happy lately. First with my new apartment, now with my new computer, things going well at work, acquiring new clients and therefore making more extra money! Then I met this one cool guy whom I have been talking to on a regular basis now. He's such a sweet guy. =)
Well it's 6:01 pm now, and I think I am going to call it a day. I didn't do much today, and there's not much for me to do actually so I'm going home now. Bye!

Oh lord the speed bumps in my apartment complex are fucking high!! My car is not that low, it's dropped about 2" but I can get over averaged size speed bumps without any problems. But DAMN! These bumps are literally as high as those parking lot concrete thingies (I can't think of the name right now). I have to go 2mph over them or else my car will bounce and scratch badly.

OK I'm back.. I had a meeting with an insurance rep this morning. Interesting stuff. Along with my other duties I'm also the company's benefits administrator so I gotta do all the enrolling and shit. Arghh I swear I don't get paid enough for what I do. Well, I get paid plenty but if I were doing all this stuff at my last job, I'd be makin' bank! Oh well I'm a lot happier here, and I have job security, which I suppose is a good trade off.
Let me finish talking about my moving experience. Yesterday ALL DAY LONG I went back and forth from Van Nuys to Woodland Hills moving my shit in my little dinky Civic. All I could fit were my clothes and stuff though. Hehe.. no way am I going to strap my computer desk and computer onto the hood of my car or something. I'll just wait until my parents come up to LA on Thursday. Hopefully they'll bring my bed cuz I'm tired of sleeping on a damn air mattress. I also went shopping with my sister and spent over $200 on shit for my room and bathroom. I winced in pain everytime I wrote out a check. I got a lot of nice stuff though.. Bed Bath & Beyond is a wonderful store. So is Target. And Linens 'N Things.
I gotta get back to work. Bye.
