Can you believe I'm at work on a Saturday afternoon? I even had to argue with the valet attendant saying that I do in fact work in the building and NOT to freakin' charge me for parking. I was hoping to get some work done but no, here I am enjoying our DSL modem downloading porn, mp3s and what not. I was going to work on a couple websites too but I can't fucking download Adobe Photoshop. Oh well... I applied for easy financing for a new computer and if I get approved I'm getting a new computer. When I move into my new place I'm also getting either a cable or DSL modem. I'm not sure what's available in my area yet.
I gotta get back to my porn work. Peace!

Well I found a place to live finally. Unfortunately Hoe Bag and I didn't get to find a place together. My office might be moving to a different part of the valley so I found a townhouse in Woodland Hills which is a nice ass suburb of Los Angeles. Also, there is literally NOTHING nice and cheap around where Kristine and I have been looking since all the apartments get rented out so quickly.
So anyway let me tell you about my new place. I'm trying to not to get overly excited about it because even though I'm credit-approved and ready to move in on Sunday, I still haven't signed the lease yet which is what binds the deal. I have to wait until Monday to sign the lease cuz that's when their current lease expires. Just trying not to get so excited cuz the last few times Kristine and I were "guaranteed" a place, shit happened and it fell through. Anyway, It's a tri-level townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms. I get the master bedroom which has an attached bathroom (yeahh baby!) There's a gal that already lives there and she's really nice. She drives a nice prelude so we're going to be a Honda household. Hehe... maybe she'll let me drive her car one of these days.
On Wednesday my co-worker's brother called me up and asked "Mae what are you doing tonight?".. Uhhh nothing. "Do you want two tickets to the Laker game?" He has a season tickets and a suite at the Staples Center so I said HELL YEAH! I decided to be nice and invite my sister to come along. The Lakers lost big time but it's ok cuz it was free and I can now say that I've stayed in a suite at the staples center! Hehehe... I finally got to see my husband Kobe Bryant!!! Oh My GAWD he's so fine. I'm going to have his kids one of these days.
Anyway a weird ass thing happened to me that day. I got hit on TWICE within a 10 minute period by complete strangers. The weird part is that shit never ever happens to me. The first one was a teller at Wells Fargo. I was making a deposit for work and he looked at me and said "you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen"... uhhhh thanks..? Then when I was walking out I noticed some dude pacing in the parking lot. Then I got in my car and he started pacing behind my car and finally he went up to my window. "Are you available?" he asked... uhhhh for what?? I thought he was trying to sell me something. "Oh, just to talk." I thought to myself.. WTF?! Umm no I'm in a rush right now (I was on my way to pick up my sister from work) "Oh ok, can I call you later?" UHHH WHAT.....???? NO BYE~! That was scary. No one has ever come up to me like that so directly. Ewwww... yucky. Damn weirdos.
Last night I got into a big fight with my parents over the phone. I had called my parents and told them about my new place and that I was going to come down to move some of my stuff. Naturally they get pissed off and tell me that I'm rushing things and that I'm not ready for this and that and blah blah blah blah.. which translates into "Gerimae you can't move out into your own place, then we won't be able to control your every move just like you are 13 years old." Then my dad gets on the phone demanding a good reason why I should move out of my aunt's house and talking all this gibberish that he needs to approve the place before I move in. FUCK THAT SHIT! Then I said "because I want to be on my own finally" and he says "ok fine! so why are you calling us saying mom i need this dad i need that?!" So then I say "OK, then NEVER EVER EVER HELP ME WITH ANYTHING ANYMORE, BYE!!" *click* ARRGGHHH!!! Parents just don't understand. I've been working and fending for myself ever since it was legal for me to have a job and they STILL like to decide what to do with my money for me. Ack. They can be so irrational at times. I love my parents to bits but DAMN they need to know when to let go of their daughter!
So that's how the last couple days went.... good parts and bad parts, typical Mae life. Mostly bad of course. Again, typical Mae life. See, I don't know how I will ever find a guy that will put up with my schedule, attitude, and mood swings. They all say that they'll be able to, but then right when I mix them in with my work and "other stuff" schedule they start to complain. I think I am better off being single for a long long time. Maybe I will meet this perfect dude some day, but for now I dunno. There always seems to be a catch... (like, they live on the other side of the country). Hmm.. well I live by one of my favorite quotes: "Good things come to those who wait."
Goodnight.

Oohh.. my co-worker is lookin' kinda cute today. Haha.. I just noticed him cuz he passed by me. But anyways on with today's entry....
I swear, LA drivers can be such spaz attacks. Today I was making a right turn on a busy street and the far right lane was free so I merged in with the flow of traffic. The guy in the middle lane thought I was going to cut him off so he swerved in to the other lane, slammed on his brakes ALMOST causing a multi car pile up. I looked in my rear view mirror and thought, what a fuckin moron. He did NOT know how to practice defensive driving. Even if I WAS going to cut him off, he shouldn't have swerved into the other lane so dramatically and he shouldn't have slammed on his brakes. PLUS he was still far away from me so I dunno why he overreacted like that. Idiot. Let this be a lesson to you, be aware of the cars around you and try to read their movements! Especially do NOT overreact to try and avoid a situation that only needs a simple maneuver to get out of. Hey, my dad is a driving instructor remember?
So anyways, surprisingly I haven't been as busy as I usually am. I got off work at 6:30 last night! Half an hour earlier than usual! Life is good. But then after traffic and getting gas (my fuel light was on for about the second time ever since I first bought my car) I still didn't get home until around 7:15. Ahh well. When I got home I didn't do jack shit! I didn't even work! Wow I can't believe this. I'm actually.... living a little! Hehe.
Aw dangit gotta go back to work now. Bye!
