Sorry... I know I haven't been blogging a whole lot. Ever since I moved I haven't spent as much time on the internet as I used to while living with my parents. It's mostly because I don't get home from work until 6:30-7, then by that time I eat dinner and plop down on the couch tired from work. Occasionally I'll go online to check my mail, but I don't like staying on too long because it's taking up my aunt's phone line. She offered to set up a second phone line for me but I don't want her to have to pay another bill, plus installation. I'll be moving out in my own apartment soon anyway and we're gonna get a cable modem! Woohoo! Goodbye dial-up, HELLO broadband! :D I'm gonna have so many bills to pay... but it's alright I'm making enough money to get by.
So let me update ya'll on what has been going on in my life. I started a job when I moved up here at a franchise office that makes gyms for kids. We have franchise locations all around the country. My official title is "Executive Office Manager", but it's not as fancy as it sounds. It's a cool job though. Everyone is super nice and laid back. I don't get my own office and I have to answer the phones (bleh!) but it's all good, I don't get any telemarketers like I did at my last job. I think I should knock on wood now. The only thing I dislike about my job is the parking. The garage guys have to valet my car every single morning and I'm so anal about other people driving my car. Imagine when I mod that sucker, the attendants will probably have a blast listening to my Blow Off Valve.. hehe.. yeah right I doubt I'm gonna turbo my car. I'm just poor like that. I think I found a hookup for a cheap B16A engine w/ tranny so I might just do that. *sigh* I hate being poor.
Ok, what else.... Oh yeah Rodger flew in to San Diego from Kansas City on Thursday. I had work the next day so we had to drive all the way back to LA where we stayed in a hotel. After work on Friday we drove back to San Diego again, and drove through Long Beach on the way to do some sight seeing. Saturday I took Rodger around where I grew up in San Diego. I also took him to eat Carne Asada Fries for the first time ever. It was such a beautiful moment, we had to take a picture of it. Then later in the afternoon we met up with some superhonda folks to go to Hot Import Nights. I saw a few of my old friends there, I even saw my cousin who's car was in the show. After Hot Import Nights we went back to the hotel to get some rest. Sunday morning we got up early to check out. We went downtown across the Coronado bridge and did some more sight seeing. Then that night I took Rodger back to the airport where we said our farewells.
Yesterday and Monday I didn't do anything, just went to work. And now we're here on Wednesday afternoon. I'm at work and I'm typing my blog out in Word so I can paste it into blogger later. For those of you who have been reading since last year, you'll know that I always blogged while at work. I can't really do that anymore because this job has a pretty heavy workload. Speaking of which, I better get back to work now... laters!
